Meet Alaine, our exceptional Operations Facilitator based in our Matriarch Cape Town branch. Alaine’s Matriarch journey commenced in 2013, marking a significant milestone as he celebrated a decade with our company last year.
In his role as Operations Facilitator, Alaine plays a pivotal role in supporting our activations team with the daily operations of our business, focusing on coordinating and setting up various activations and events across the Western Cape. Our Operations Team, often the unsung heroes working behind the scenes, serves as the glue that binds our business together.

Q: What’s the most memorable project you’ve worked on at Matriarch, and why?
One of the most unforgettable moments in my career was the Gaviscon project in 2016. It stands out as the team and I secured a Guinness World Record. Being a crucial part of the operations crew, the journey involved hard work, sweat, tears, and labor – a collective effort that proved to be immensely rewarding in the end. The sense of achievement and the lasting impact of that project makes every ounce of dedication worthwhile.
