The SASKO In-store campaign was implemented with the aim of increasing sales in Soweto, Cape Town and Durban, by rewarding consumers for every purchase of a SASKO loaf. At the heart of the Sasko Instore campaign was brand connection. With a simple mechanic, we ensured to find the most relatable brand ambassadors who would ensure the Sasko brand a familiar face and tone.
The in-store mechanic is simple yet effective. Brand Ambassadors encourage consumers to purchase a SASKO loaf to be rewarded with a complimentary Sasko biscuit pack with every purchase. The aim is to disrupt purchasing habits with the Brand Ambassadors presence and gifting consumers, encouraging conversion, increasing brand awareness and positively impacting on sales.
Instore activations have always been a powerful means to influence purchase instore. New covid protocols have had an impact on this means of
activation, but our results prove that activations will always have a place instore, though the implementation, may at times, have to adapt and evolve.
